hi admin, i have some issue with luminous ups sine 875va that is with out any charging mode or no power cut the inverter remains hot all the time(inbuilt cooler runs only in charging mode), inverter is only 3mn old, and i don’t know it is a problem or not, can u clarify it. i will be grateful to you. and also my electric bill rises 2times more than normal with out any major power cut during whole month (only 5min once a day). previously i have a tez matrix 600va, but dont see such issue with it (sell it as it was square wave).
Seems like a problem with some internal component.

I have become a very big fan of yours. I am a Freelancer. Having three regular contracts. I am using iBall Nirantar Ups 630 to switchover from Desktop PC to Laptop.
iBall UPS is working since 4 four years no problem. Changed battery twice. Gives backup 10-15 mins.
But within a minute or two, I save my stuff and shutdown, switchover to laptop, use broadband modem from UPS during power failure.
All my data is in dropbox, so problem in transferring data from pendrive etc. This saves time during power failure.
But, my job has considerably increased, facing difficulties during extended power failure periods in Bangalore. As I am planning to buy a inverter.

I have a question too: In my village 4-5 hour power cuts are common, and i need a power backup system to run two desktops and some network gear (total average load would probably be under 600w).

I think it is better to complete all heavy tasks during power time and at the time of using inverter, better to use only light & fan and try to minimize the usage as low as possible.

An 850 VA Inverter would handle the load of Kitchen mixer or blender with power consumption lower than 500 watts only.
If you try 750 watts mixie with 850 va inverter, the inverter will trip and initiate auto shutdown instantly.
Don’t try too many times to operate high power mixie with 850 va inverter, as it would spoil the PCB (printed circuit board) of inverter.
