Pico is the only inverter model available with inbuilt battery in sukam.
Do any other companies have a portable inverter? I want a portable inverter for a single table fan with 2 -3 hrs backup. Can I use a (computer) UPS? What VA rating should I buy?

Portable inverters are suitable for cfl’s and cell phone chargers only.
Just like computers Ups, it has inbuilt Sealed lead acid 7 AH battery. You can go for APC computer UPS as an alternative for Pico.
One disadvantage with computer ups is handling, you cannot carry it with you frequently like PICO.
We strongly recommend, to go for Sukam Micron inverter with 32 AH Car Battery. It will function perform better than your expectation.

I bought Su-kam micron 250VA running with 32Ah battery,initially it was ok,but after 5 months when 1 ceiling fan 2 cfl is on,its showing over load why? Battery water level is ok & cheked.

No,actually its was not observed in such way,but when 2 bulb of 60watt
was lighten it again showing overload.Please kindly tell me what is the maximum load carrying capacity in watts in this Micron Su-kam 250Va inverter.
